Over the last few weeks our Year 7 pupils have been very busy at home creating Irish cottages. Our year 7 pupils do this project as part of their topic work about the Irish Famine. The pupils complete this at home often with a family member. The pupils always create amazing cottages and make it very challenging for the judges to pick winners. The different categories included; most authentic, historically accurate, most variety, recycled materials, the prettiest, closely associated with the class novel (Underneath the Hawthorne Tree) and best overall.
