World Maths Day!
On Thursday 14th March, our school celebrated International Maths Day. This year our theme was, “Get into Shape!” Over the course of the day, pupils of all ages took part in lots of different shape inspired activities, both outside and inside their respective classrooms. These ranged from a ‘Shape Safari’, creating ‘2D shape monsters’ and other shape inspired play activities for Foundation and KS1, to a 2D/3D shape scavenger hunt, tangrams, and some mindfulness geometric colouring to end the day. The children really got into shape for the day and enjoyed learning and being a part of International Maths Day. A big thanks to all the teachers and classroom assistants for their hard work and making the day a fun learning experience for all the pupils in our school!
