On behalf of Strabane Controlled Primary School, we wish to thank The R&A and The Confederation of Golf in Ireland (CGI), for bringing our Primary 6 class to the recent Trophy Tour at the Guild Hall as part of ‘The Road to The Open 2019’ at Portrush. We really enjoyed the experience of both the history presentation by Hannah Fleming from the British Golf Museum and the golf activity organised by CGI. We got lots of photos with the Claret Jug and I’m delighted to say that we are soon to receive printed copies of the photo for all the children who attended. A big thank you to Colin, Golf development Manager and everyone who made this experience happen.
