Maths Week 2024!
This week across Ireland, many different schools are celebrating Maths Week 2024!
Strabane Primary also wishes to get involved and celebrate Maths within our school. To this end, various activities have been planned throughout the week that focus on the area of 'problem solving'.
As a whole school we are running an 'Estimation Station', where pupils will have the opportunity to guess the number of sweets within a jar.
We would love you to get involved and discuss this with your child/children and have a level playing field for the younger classes. Send your guess on a page with your child's name and it will be entered into the pot.
There will be only one guess per pupil so choose carefully.
