The initiative is aimed at those who may not have a GCSE math or equivalent and are 19 years and over. The workshop is targeted to parents, carers and grandparents and will help support them to build their numeracy skills and increase their confidence with maths, while also learning the tools to support the children with homework.
The class will be held in the Foyle building of the Derry/LDerry campus on Thursday evenings.
