The Eco Committee have been busy thinking of more ways to encourage energy saving within our school.
Today members of the Eco Committee gave out Energy Monitor badges to each class. Each week, every class will nominate an Energy Saving Monitor who will be responsible for turning off the lights and other electrical appliances when they are not in use. We have printed posters to display in each classroom to encourage pupils to remember the importance of this.
At our Eco Committee meeting this week we also discussed other ideas to help us save energy in school. We have a few events planned and look forward to sharing more about this soon!
