Over the past number of weeks, pupils from Primary 6 have been attending Encore Performing Arts Academy. Throughout their time there, they have been under the careful instruction of Mrs Rebecca Thompson and have learned many new things concerning drama and performing arts. During these sessions, the pupils learned various sections of dialogue, key stage techniques and gained confidence through expressing themselves in a creative way. Many of the pupils who had never done anything like this before, really enjoyed the new experiences and those who had some experience got to build on their skills.
Their time with Encore culminated in a tour of The Alley Theatre, where they got to see behind the scenes of a working show and they had the opportunity to perform a really well choreographed routine on the stage.
