Today is Earth Day! 🌎🌍🌏
This year is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day!
The theme for this year is Climate Change, thinking about the action we need to take in order to look after and care for our environment.
It would be brilliant if you could take part in an activity to celebrate Earth Day, there are some ideas in the picture below to help you think about ways of doing this.
You could also visit https://www.earthday.org/ to find out more information about Earth Day and to think of other ways to celebrate it.
Maybe you could make a poster or design a piece of artwork to tell people about Earth Day.

Eco-Schools NI is launching a series of weekly challenges to inspire you and to help you open up your senses to the scents, sounds and beauty of spring.
We would love it if you could take part in these challenges. It would be brilliant if you could let us know if you do take part by emailing your teacher.
This week’s challenge is all about using your 5 senses to discover nature and using technology to record the sounds you discover. Even if you can’t record the sounds, spend some time outdoors listening to the different sounds and make a list or draw a picture of what you can see / hear.
